Storage is playing an increasingly important role in the energy transition. The sun does not always shine, and the wind does not blow continuously. By temporarily storing energy, we can better coordinate supply and demand. This creates space on the grid and we use sustainable energy optimally – even when the grid is full. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

GreenTrust develops battery storage projects in close collaboration with governments, cooperatives, developers, businesses, and grid operators \u2013 both in the Netherlands and abroad. We look for smart combinations with existing or planned solar and wind projects. This creates an integrated solution for local generation, local consumption, and storage, even in areas with grid congestion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Egchelse Heide Wind Farm, options for battery storage are being explored. The idea is a storage system with a capacity between 5 and 10 MWh.<\/h4><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Battery The Blue Gate<\/h2><\/a>

Solar meadow De Blauwe Poort is located in the municipality of Laarbeek. The park will receive addition of a battery storage system. This can store 2 MW of energy. GreenTrust is working on a request in principle and calculating the earnings model. <\/h4><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
