Wind park BCT is part of business park Business Centre Treeport along the A16 on the border of the Netherlands and Belgium. This wind park consists of two Nordex wind turbines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Silent<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Completed in 2023, the wind park will produce about 22 GWh per year. Nordex is responsible for both the N149 wind turbines and the foundations. The N149, as its type indicates, has a rotor diameter of 149 meters. It is also a relatively quiet wind turbine because the blades are equipped with serations. This is a sawtooth pattern on the edge of the rotor blade that helps to improve airflow across the turbine blade and thus reduce noise. This method is taken from nature, as owls also have these serrated edges on their wings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

De ontwikkeling en financiering van het windpark van BCT was voor mij anders dan welk project dan ook. In eerste instantie omdat ik naast juridisch adviseur ook de rol van projectmanager vervulde. Leerzaam en een hele mooie inkijk in de keuken wat er allemaal komt kijken bij de ontwikkeling en financiering van een windpark,\u00a0ook op niet-juridisch gebied.\u00a0Daarnaast was het erg interessant dat onze opdrachtgever hoofdzakelijk bezig is met het ontwikkelen en realiseren van een distributiecentrum, waardoor niet de planning van ons windpark leidend is maar die van het distributiecentrum \u2013 een spannend speelveld. Tot slot, de dynamiek van de Windenergie A16 en de vele stakeholders brachten ook vele uitdagingen met zich mee \u00e9n resulteerde in vele unieke samenwerkingen en bijbehorende overeenkomsten.Zowel als jurist als adviseur in algemene zin heb ik me met veel plezier volop kunnen uitleven op dit unieke project!<\/em><\/div>
