PPA stands for Power Purchase Agreement. It is a purchase and supply agreement for electricity. You typically enter into a standard PPA with an energy company. With a direct corporate PPA, your company receives electricity generated by a solar or wind park directly, without the involvement of an energy company. The contract includes agreements on electricity price, volume, and risk distribution between producer and consumer. Thanks to a Guarantee of Origin (GoO), you can be certain that the electricity you purchase is sustainably generated. This also allows you to easily report on your environmental objectives.
