Willem-Jaap has been active in the wind industry since 2008. At GreenTrust, he works on various projects, such as wind farm Energie Groote Haar and developments in Croatia. He is also the team leader of team MACC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My father taught me windsurfing when I was eight years old. Since then, I’ve been intrigued by the power of wind and have made it my field of study and later my profession. As a child, I spent entire afternoons windsurfing. Later, kitesurfing was added to that. I was extremely grumpy when there was no wind and I couldn’t go. It’s mainly the speed you build up through the wind that makes surfing so attractive. You really blast across the water. And it remains fun. When it’s seriously windy, I grab my kitesurfboard or surfboard and you’ll find me on the water. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
