Our steps in 2025 and ambitions for 2026

2025 brought a lot of movement to the energy sector. The trick was to carefully compose new directions, strong collaborations and agility each time. Sometimes with a steady hand, sometimes searching – but always moving forward. Together with partners, customers and stakeholders, we take steps that contribute to a reliable and sustainable energy supply for everyone.

Looking back on an eventful year

Despite strong headwinds for wind and solar, we achieved valuable milestones. We brought projects closer to permitting and financing, and realized a complete citizen wind farm – a remarkable achievement in this day and age.

Our Asset Managers ensured safe, stable and high-performing energy projects. We actively worked on solutions to grid congestion, involved energy cooperatives and strengthened local cooperation. Thanks to the trust of our partners and clients, we can continue to build a future-proof energy system.

Looking ahead to 2026

In the new year, we continue to seek connections. We bring people and parties together, share knowledge and create space for smart, social and technical innovations. Especially now, we can make good use of the power of imagination: to see possibilities where things seem to be stuck, and to generate new energy together – literally and figuratively.

Art as a symbol of connection

To mark the end of the year, we commissioned an artwork by artist Bob Mollema that depicts the power of collaboration. At first, the figures in the work seem to look away from each other – a reference to divergent interests and polarization in the sector and society. But look further and you will see how they carry each other, create space together and open up perspectives for new possibilities. A daily reminder that real progress occurs when people put something in motion together.
