Preliminary Studies
and Analysis
Together we breathe life into your energy project
A good start is essential for a successful energy project. This begins with a thorough feasibility study and the right analyses. GreenTrust conducts the necessary preliminary studies to investigate the feasibility of your project. We carry out measurement campaigns to collect reliable data, calculate expected energy yields or savings, and analyze the lifespan of installations.
Feasibility Studies
With our feasibility studies, we map out all relevant factors: from technical possibilities and financial feasibility to legal frameworks and environmental factors. We also conduct thorough analyses of wind and solar potential, grid connection options, and environmental impacts, among others. This provides you with a clear overview of the opportunities and challenges for your project, allowing you to take well-informed next steps.
Measurement Campaigns
Reliable data forms the foundation of every energy project. Through our measurement campaigns, we map out the data needed for design and optimization of your project, from wind speeds and solar hours to noise and shadow flicker studies. We use the latest measuring equipment and advanced analysis tools. Based on the results, we provide a clear report and recommendations.
Yield calculations
The development of a wind or solar park requires a realistic prediction of energy yield. In our yield calculations, we combine advanced software with location-specific data, such as wind profiles, solar radiation, and terrain conditions. This also gives you insight into the financial feasibility of your project. Our calculations meet the requirements of financiers and investors and form a reliable basis for your business case.
Life Cycle Analysis
A Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) maps out the environmental impacts of your sustainable energy installation throughout its entire lifecycle, from production to dismantling. This includes CO₂ emissions during construction, maintenance, and recycling. With the introduction of the Corporate Sustainability Research Directive (CSRD), sustainability reporting becomes mandatory, and an LCA provides valuable, objective data to demonstrate environmental impact – crucial for investments, permits, and social accountability. Our GreenTrust experts are here to help you with this.

Projects
We aim for impact. This makes the difference.
Solar park Zonnewilg
Together with the nine wind turbines of Wind park Den Tol, solar park de Zonnewilg forms an energy landscape along the German border near Netterden. The solar park has a total installed capacity of about 16 MW. Since the spring of 2025, the solar park has been supplying energy.
Cooperative wind park A2 Lage Rooijen
Since 2017, Cooperation Bommelerwaar and GreenTrust have been working on a cooperative wind park at Lage Rooijen, directly east of the A2 motorway. In January 2026, the three turbines will be officially completed. With the three wind turbines, the park will then generate enough local green energy for about 10,000 households. And is thus booster of a sustainable municipality of Maasdriel.
Wind park Kroningswind
Kroningswind is an initiative of eleven farming families on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in South Holland. 19 wind turbines have been built with a combined capacity between 70-80MW.
VE Lički Medvjed
In the mountains of Otočac, Croatia, GreenTrust wants to develop the largest wind farm in Croatia. In a nature-inclusive and social way, so that nature and the environment benefit. In addition to feasibility, development and technical design, communication is key here.
Wind park Egchelse Heide
Wind park Egchelse Heide consists of five wind turbines in the municipality of Peel and Maas. The project was realized in cooperation with the local energy cooperative Peel Energie. GreenTrust participates in this project, supported its development and provides operational management.
Zonneweide The Blue Gate
Sun, water and nature characterize Solar Meadow The Blue Gate in the municipality of Laarbeek. Built in 2022, the solar meadow, with 9.5MW, generates enough green energy for about 3,000 households.
Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe
In a record time of less than four years, residents of Nijmegen and the surrounding area realized Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe. The wind park, with four wind turbines, has been providing renewable energy for over 7,000 households per year since the end of 2016. Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe is located on Nijmegen territory, along the A15 highway.
Wind park Eemshaven ZO
The construction of wind park Eemshaven Southeast was a unique project. For the first time in the world, wind turbines were erected in their entirety with a self-climbing crane!
Wind park Zeewolde
Since 2020, the 220 wind turbines of wind park Zeewolde have been replaced step by step with 83 larger, more modern wind turbines. This allows most of the turbines to continue operating as usual during construction. The wind park provides green power for some 280,000 households in southern Flevoland. All old wind turbines are expected to be demolished by the end of 2026.
