100% Limburg wind park
Wind park Ospeldijk West is located in the municipality of Nederweert in Limburg. It consists of two Nordex Delta 4000 turbines, which together produce enough energy for about 8,000 households. GreenTrust has been involved in the construction and management of the project, among other things.
50% cooperative and 100% locally owned
The two wind turbines of Ospeldijk West together with the two more wind turbines of Ospeldijk East form the Wind park Ospeldijk . The wind park- a collaboration of Coöperatie Zuidenwind and Waterleiding Maatschappij Limburg (WML) – will be completed in 2021. Together, the four turbines generate about 45 million kWh of green electricity annually. Cooperative Zuidenwind owns Ospeldijk East, while WML owns Ospeldijk West. GreenTrust manages the turbines at Ospeldijk West.
The Nordex turbines at Ospeldijk West are fine turbines to manage. They are reliable and have proven themselves over the years. Major failures are rare because the turbines have been fine-tuned over the years. In addition, we have good contact with WML, which also works very nicely.

A number of GreenTrusters have been involved in wind park Ospeldijk West. Joost and Klaas did the tendering and Jeroen was responsible for engineering during construction. Richard manages the turbines and Anik does the technical administration.
