Wind park Hazeldonk
The three wind turbines of wind park Hazeldonk have been operating along the A16 near Breda since 2015. A project that seemed impossible at first glance became a success story after all thanks to the cooperation of Izzy Projects and GreenTrust. GreenTrust is co-owner of this wind farm.
Wind farm Hazeldonk: toasting in Ireland
GreenTrust and Izzy Projects jointly signed up for the tender for this project with the municipality of Breda at the very last minute. While Pim de Ridder of Izzy Projects and ‘our’ Klaas happened to be working on another project together in Ireland a few weeks later, the redeeming phone call came that they were actually allowed to do it. After toasting with good Irish whiskey, the preparations could begin.
Een schijnbaar onmogelijk project kwam ons aanwaaien en werd door innige samenwerking met Izzy Projects toch een succes. In een hele korte tijd werd de vergunning aangepast, een obligatielening uit de markt gehaald, de financiering rondgemaakt én gebouwd. In mei 2014 wisten we dat we dit project mochten doen, en einde van dat jaar hadden we de vergunningen en de financiering rond.
