Wind park Hazeldonk (expansion)
The three wind turbines of Windpark Hazeldonk have been operating along the A16 near Breda since 2015. Following the development of this existing wind farm, Green Trust is also involved as a consultant for the expansion with one more wind turbine.
Wind park Hazeldonk: expansion fits the line
The expansion with one additional turbine is in line with the current wind farm. It also uses the existing grid connection. This project involves close cooperation with the Province of Brabant. This province’s ambition is to be energy neutral by 2050. To achieve this, the province has teamed up with four municipalities to implement wind energy along the A16, including Windpark Hazeldonk.
Ik ben betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van de uitbreiding van het bestaande windpark. Die uitbreiding is in mijn ogen een logische aanvulling in de lijn van het bestaande windpark van Hazeldonk waarbij we optimaal gebruik maken van de bestaande netaansluiting. Wat ik zelf erg goed vind, is dat 25% van het eigendom van deze windturbine aan de omgeving ter beschikking is gesteld.
Planning
There is currently an irrevocable environmental permit. Green Trust is acting as a consultant in this project. When construction will start is still unknown.
