Anyone dropping by the GreenTrust office in Oosterbeek around half past twelve will see a table laid out, ready for all colleagues and visitors. Silva has been putting on this lavish spread and bringing smiles to everyone’s faces since 2025.
I start and end my day with the Bible, because the stories in the Bible make me and others kind and wise. Whenever I want to talk about something or have a question, I ask Jesus for advice. So I share everything I do with Jesus, including my work.
What’s important to me? Being honest, being kind and showing love. I try to keep that in mind every day, including at the office. At work, I’m made happy by all the lovely people around me. Cooking for them allows me to share my love, and I absolutely love spoiling others. I love to get creative in the kitchen. I sometimes make sweet treats, meshabek is my speciality, and I also love variety at lunchtime: eggs with herbs, a different salad every time, apples with cinnamon… And if someone doesn’t like something or can’t eat it, I’m happy to prepare a separate portion for them.
