Anyone who visits the GreenTrust office in Oosterbeek around half past twelve will see a table set for all colleagues and visitors. Silva has been providing this table and many happy faces since 2025.
I start and end my day with the Bible, because the stories in the Bible make me and others kind and wise. If I want to talk about something or if I have a question, I ask Jesus for advice. So I share everything I do with Jesus, including my work.
What is important to me? Being honest, being kind, and giving love. I try to take that with me every day, including to the office. I am happy at work because of all the lovely people around me. By cooking for them, I can share my love, and I love to spoil others. I love to express myself in the kitchen. I sometimes make sweets – meshabek is my specialty – and I also like variety at lunchtime: eggs with herbs, a different salad every time, apples with cinnamon… And if someone doesn’t like or can’t eat something, I’m happy to make a separate dish for them.
