Sjoerd Dijk is project manager of wind, solar and (large-scale) battery storage projects across the country. His extensive civil service and political experience comes in handy.

Wave surfing, diving, swimming…. anything in or on the water makes me happy. Snowboarding is also a favorite. Extraordinary considering I suffer from vertigo. After I decided on a whim to try it, I was so excited that I can now be found on the slopes every year. The first few times up in the gondola I always have to push through but when I get off the slope, the snow crunching under my board and the wind blowing in my face, I get into a flow. The trick is that you have to go with the path that is there. If you don’t then you fall over. That’s like overcoming an addiction, I know from experience. I have now found my “flow” in real life. At GreenTrust and in helping others with their addiction. That flow gives me peace and makes me happy.
