Decommissioning
Together we give your energy project a second life
The lifecycle of a sustainable energy project doesn’t end at completion, but concludes with a well-thought-out dismantling. This is called decommissioning. In this process, we aim to minimize the impact on the environment and surroundings. This requires careful planning.
Sustainable Decommissioning
Our approach focuses on efficiently removing infrastructure, such as wind turbines, solar panels, foundations, and other installations. In doing so, we aim to recycle and reuse as many materials as possible.
We begin with a detailed inventory of the location and existing structures. Based on this, we create a decommissioning plan that meets all environmental and other requirements. During the decommissioning, we ensure safe dismantling and transportation of materials. We work closely with specialized partners and local communities to minimize disruption from the activities as much as possible.
When sustainably decommissioning a wind or solar park, we restore the landscape to its original state. But that’s not all. By optimally reusing residual materials in new projects, we also create added value.
