Team development

Ryan Sondij has worked at GreenTrust as a wind specialist since late 2023. He focuses on both calculations for wind farms under development and analyses for existing wind farms, and is adept at yield calculations, cast shadow and noise analyses. He also turns his hand to power curve analyses, availability and yield analyses. Ryan has a hands-on approach and also assists with wind farm inspections.

I have been cycling for years, but since a few years I have become really fanatical about cycling. I get on my bike about three to four times a week. On good days I effortlessly pedal away a hundred kilometers, but even a short lap of about forty kilometers gives me satisfaction. Especially after a long work week, it’s extra nice to get on your bike. What I like most is cycling together with my friends. Once a year we also take a trip together to Spain, for example. Then eight of us in a bus set off for the mountains and bike for five days straight. That’s real enjoyment.

Cooperative wind park A2 Lage Rooijen

Since 2017, Cooperation Bommelerwaar and GreenTrust have been working on a cooperative wind park at Lage Rooijen, directly east of the A2 motorway. In January 2026, the three turbines will be officially completed. With the three wind turbines, the park will then generate enough local green energy for about 10,000 households. And is thus booster of a sustainable municipality of Maasdriel.
