Anja Beld: GreenTrust’s all-rounder

Project administration and support for energy projects at GreenTrust

Behind every energy project is more than engineering, development and financing. It also requires a solid administrative foundation. Invoices, contracts, reports and project administration must be correct. At GreenTrust, Anja Beld takes care of this.

As a financial project support officer, she is involved in various projects and teams. Her work has broadened over the years. “I run various administrations, support project teams and am a point of inquiry for colleagues. In practice, I am a kind of flying keeper.”

From administration to sparring partner

Among other things, Anja deals with the administrations of various energy projects. She processes invoices and payments, maintains statements and assists with reports and financial statements.

But her work goes beyond administration. She also helps project managers with practical matters necessary to keep projects running smoothly. “For example, I read along with bids to make sure they fit well with the administrative process. I also set up new projects within our systems and help with things like data rooms, time checks and registrations for green certificates.”

She also assists with HR administration and other organizational tasks within the team.

The basis of a good project

According to Anja, good project support is essential for energy projects. “It gives project leaders peace of mind when the peripheral issues are well taken care of. You don’t build a house without a foundation. That goes well for a while, but as soon as it gets bigger cracks appear.”

With more than 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector – nearly 10 of which were spent at GreenTrust – she also brings a lot of background knowledge. “I have been working in this sector for a long time. This allows me to quickly make connections and think along with colleagues and associates.”

What makes her work so fun for Anja? The variety and working together. “The versatility, the contact with relations and colleagues and the feeling that my work really makes a difference.”
