Senne Koetsier
Team management
Senne came to intern at GreenTrust in 2018 and made such an impression that we didn’t let him go. He is involved in the development and management of solar, wind and cable pooling.
I want to record nature as it is at that moment. Climate change is happening so fast that soon we won’t know what nature was once like. I prefer to photograph in rugged places where no one comes. Wildlife photography is good preparation, patience and knowing what opportunity arises to capture animals as beautifully as possible in their natural habitat. You have to understand an animal; take into account its behavior before you grab the camera. If an animal looks straight into your lens and you catch that gaze, that’s a great reward.

Wind park Hazeldonk
The three wind turbines of Windpark Hazeldonk have been operating along the A16 near Breda since 2015. A project that seemed impossible at first glance became a success story after all thanks to the cooperation of Izzy Projects and GreenTrust. GreenTrust is co-owner of this wind farm.
Wind park Hazeldonk (expansion)
The three wind turbines of Windpark Hazeldonk have been operating along the A16 near Breda since 2015. After the development of this existing park, Green Trust is also involved as a consultant for the expansion with one more wind turbine.
Wind park Kroningswind
Kroningswind is an initiative of eleven farming families on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in South Holland. 19 wind turbines have been built with a combined capacity between 70-80MW.
Wind park Oostflakkee
Wind park Oostflakkee is an initiative of five local farmers and project developer Renewable Energy Factory. Kallista Energy purchased the wind park. With this, this French independent energy producer took its first step across the border. Wind park Oostflakkee consists of eight wind turbines (E126-EP3), which, with a capacity of 32 MW per year, provide enough green power for more than 30,000 households.
Solar park de Grift
Solar Park de Grift is located next to Wind Park Nijmegen-Betuwe, along the A15 highway near Nijmegen. As one of the first cooperative solar parks in the Netherlands, it utilizes cable pooling, where the wind park and solar park share a grid connection. With over 11,000 panels, the solar park has been providing sustainable energy for approximately 1500 households since 2022.
Zonneweide The Blue Gate
Sun, water and nature characterize Solar Meadow The Blue Gate in the municipality of Laarbeek. Built in 2022, the solar meadow, with 9.5MW, generates enough green energy for about 3,000 households.
Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe
In a record time of less than four years, residents of Nijmegen and the surrounding area realized Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe. The wind park, with four wind turbines, has been providing renewable energy for over 7,000 households per year since the end of 2016. Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe is located on Nijmegen territory, along the A15 highway.
