Jorick Messink

Jorick is our urban planner, permit specialist, and team leader of the Development team. He manages project and environmental management for Windpark Doetinchem and environmental management for Burgerwindpark A2 Lage Rooijen, among other responsibilities.

After a busy day, I pick up my guitar. Soul, jazz, funk, it doesn’t matter: as long as it has rhythm. I write my own songs and give existing ones my own twist. Just like solving complex urban planning problems, creating a song requires creativity. Music connects people; that’s what I find beautiful about it. When I’m abroad and I take out my guitar to sing a song, I immediately make a connection. Playing together and having fun, that’s what I enjoy.
