Technical design and construction preparation
Together we bring your energy project to life
The construction of your solar or wind park or battery storage is an exciting phase. The plans that have been worked on for so long are now becoming a reality. Proper preparation is half the battle. It starts with a well-thought-out technical design. Additionally, permit management is important to ensure the work progresses smoothly.
Engineering (technical design)
GreenTrust’s engineers create the preliminary design for wind, solar, and storage projects and then further develop the design with technical specifications for the various main components. The end product is a clear specification including drawings that can then be priced by various suppliers. This does not include making structural calculations. To achieve an optimal technical design, we also contract and supervise the necessary studies and detailed engineering. For example, in the fields of geo technical engineering and environment, or the structural calculations of the foundation.
Permit Management
The granted permits for a wind, solar, or storage project contain various requirements. Careful permit management is essential to comply with these during construction. Additionally, supplementary permits are often needed for specific construction activities. Think of exemptions for transport, temporary permits for construction sites, and compliance with environmental regulations. This also requires the necessary coordination. Our specialists are happy to take care of this, ensuring that the construction phase proceeds smoothly and efficiently.

VE Lički Medvjed
In the mountains of Otočac, Croatia, GreenTrust wants to develop the largest wind farm in Croatia. In a nature-inclusive and social way, so that nature and the environment benefit. In addition to feasibility, development and technical design, communication is key here.
Zonneweide The Blue Gate
Sun, water and nature characterize Solar Meadow The Blue Gate in the municipality of Laarbeek. Built in 2022, the solar meadow, with 9.5MW, generates enough green energy for about 3,000 households.
Wind park Hartelkanaal
From 2009 to 2015, wind park Hartelkanaal was redeveloped and built on behalf of Investment Engineering Projects. The wind farm has eight wind turbines with a combined capacity of 24 MW. Special challenge: the limited location.
Wind park North Beveland
The five Nordex N90 wind turbines at the former Jacoba Rippolder wind park were replaced by four Nordex N117 wind turbines in 2021. Each turbine has a capacity of 3.6 MW. Together, they form the new wind park North Beveland.
Wind park Krammer
Wind park Krammer is the largest citizens' initiative in the Netherlands. on and around the Krammer locks, the nearly 5,000 members of cooperatives Zeeuwind and Deltawind have developed a wind park with 34 wind turbines. The wind park has an installed capacity of 102 MW, providing enough power for over 100,000 households. The power is purchased directly by Nouryon, DSM, Google and Philips.
Wind park Westerse Polder
After 20 years, the current wind park Westerse Polder was in need of replacement. The seven wind turbines of the existing wind park were replaced by five Enercon E-126 EP3 wind turbines. Commissioned by Investment Engineering Projects, GreenTrust handled the development, tendering and construction.
Wind park Hellegatsplein
Atop the Delta Works stands wind park Hellegatsplein. The four wind turbines have a combined installed capacity of 12 MW since 2015. Enough to provide 16,500 households in the Netherlands with sustainable electricity each year. Wind park Hellegatsplein was developed on behalf of Qurrent.
Wind park Roosendaalsche Vliet
Wind park Roosendaalsche Vliet is an initiative of 20 farmers in the Roosendaal region. Together they invested in the construction of a wind park along the A17 motorway. Since 2016, the wind farm has been in operation and the three Vestas V90 wind turbines have a combined installed capacity of 9 MW.
Cooperative wind park Spinderwind
Members of 11 energy cooperatives in the municipality of Tilburg and region of Hart van Brabant took the initiative for a wind park in Tilburg in 2018. This together with Energiefonds Brabant. As of April 2020, the wind farm's four wind turbines provide enough renewable electricity for 7,500 households.
Cooperative wind park A2 Lage Rooijen
Since 2017, Cooperation Bommelerwaar and GreenTrust have been working on a cooperative wind park at Lage Rooijen, directly east of the A2 motorway. In January 2026, the three turbines will be officially completed. With the three wind turbines, the park will then generate enough local green energy for about 10,000 households. And is thus booster of a sustainable municipality of Maasdriel.
Solar park Larendeel
A group of Druten entrepreneurs has teamed up with GreenTrust to initiate Solar Park Larendeel. This plan provides for a solar park that can provide 37 GWh of sustainable electricity annually. Enough for over 12,000 households in the land of Maas and Waal.
Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe
In a record time of less than four years, residents of Nijmegen and the surrounding area realized Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe. The wind park, with four wind turbines, has been providing renewable energy for over 7,000 households per year since the end of 2016. Wind park Nijmegen-Betuwe is located on Nijmegen territory, along the A15 highway.
Wind park Den Tol
East of Netterden, close to the German border, lies wind park Den Tol. An initiative of six agricultural families, who eventually managed to realize nine wind turbines here. The wind farm has been in full operation since 2022. The arrival of a solar park will create an energy landscape here in the future.
